A beautiful day at the zoo

It rained and stormed all morning and it was still cloudy and cool when we took off for the zoo at 11:30 this morning. Perfect weather for the zoo! Not many people go on days like that :) We were celebrating Chad's last test in LPN school. He has 2 days of clinicals next week and a practice NCLX-LPN then he is done!! So we are members of the Akron Zoo and go almost once a week and Soraya just loves it. Today she chose to wear her hat (she NEVER wants to wear hats let alone ask to wear one!) and then proceeded to actually wear it for 2 hours! Then she also shockingly wore her sunglasses the whole time too! We always carry our sunglasses with us wherever we go, but never wear them. Well today was the big day and she wore them too :) She also picked out her outfit today, not half bad I must say :) So all in all a good day at the zoo. I love it when Chad gets to come along. Much easier on mom when it is a one to one ratio :)

Soraya always puts her shoes on by herself. Gets them on the right feet 25% of the time. Chad thought they should be on the right feet for all of the walking at the zoo.
